FracJet-Volga is a Russian oil and gas servicing group of companies. It was established in 2009 by a team of top professionals to render services to oil and gas operators. Since then, we have been expanding the scope of our operations offering leading edge and customized solutions to our clients in Russia and abroad. We develop technologies to be employed in well construction, workover, fracturing, well testing, stimulation and completion, as well as coiled tubing and nitrogen operations.

ABOUT US

“Our goal is to render top quality oil and gas services, and to offer turnkey solutions that meet our customers’ needs. Strategically, we aim for diversifying the scope of business activities. The FJV Group is constantly on the search for new and efficient growth and risk management methods as we develop state-of-the-art technologies, invest in manufacturing facilities, set up independent businesses, and partner with vertically integrated giants in large-scale successful projects. This combination of horizontal and vertical diversification allows FJV to scale up, enhance the efficiency and quality of our services, and succeed together with our customers.”

Horizontal well logging – Astrakhan Gas Condensate Field
Field trials of CT jet pumps
Customer: Gazpromneft-Orenburg

FracJet-Volga drilled three horizontal laterals with a 2-7/8” coiled tubing string while controlling the well trajectory. A total of 4,311 feet was drilled in high-H2S conditions.

The company developed and implemented the CT drilling technology that combines drilling and coiled tubing workover techniques. We made a mobile drill mud cleaning system, a blowout prevention complex, an LWD system, a BHA and other components required to successfully perform the CT drilling operation.
COILED TUBING DRILLING (CTD) –
ORENBURG OIL AND GAS CONDENSATE FIELD
Customer: Gazpromdobycha Astrakhan

The work was complicated by high levels of H2S (up to 36%), as well as 18% CO2. A customized coiled tubing string was manufactured to the FJV specifications to withstand the harsh conditions of the Astrakhan field. It was a unique operation of well logging in a flowing well.
Customer: Gazpromneft-Orenburg

FJV has designed a jet pump to de deployed on coiled tubing. The packer in the pump allows the crew to operate without employing a workover unit, i.e. directly in the tubing hangers.

In 2023, the design was improved to reduce the impact of the gas factor. The equipment is manufactured for the 2-3/8”, 2-7/8” and 3-1/2” tubing. Field trials have been successfully completed by the experts of FracJet-Volga and Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg.
Customer: Gazpromneft-Orenburg

FJV has completed acid jet drilling of sidetracks with trajectory control at the Eastern block of the Orenburg oil and gas condensate field. The work was significantly complicated by harsh corrosive environment, and we had to use hydrochloric acid compositions as a drilling fluid.

For these jobs, the company had developed and used highly durable downhole equipment capable of withstanding high-H2S conditions - jet nozzles, knuckle joints and wireline well control devices. FJV Chemical Lab designed compositions to combat asphalt, resin and paraffin deposits in the wellbore, as well as acid compositions to heat up the wellbore.

THE FIRST STEPS IN WORKOVER AND COILED TUBING
2009. Our story starts with a couple of workover rigs and a team of highly experienced oil and gas professionals.
2010-2011. The company launched its first coiled tubing project of well stimulation at Astrakhan Gas Condensate Field with the re-entry of two drilled wells for Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan LLC.
2012. A Research and Engineering Center was introduced to tackle complex challenges in coiled tubing, workover, fracturing, and drilling.
2013. A Capital Construction Department was established to perform construction and assembly operations in the field. It was our company that served as an EPC contractor to do workover jobs at the Gazprom underground gas storage facilities.
